Dog's Day Out Event

The HSSC asked Pear to create a visual identity for a new event called Dog’s Day Out. Pear designed the event logo, social marketing graphics, signage, the event program and tickets. Five logo designs were created and the HSSC chose its favorite. Four hundred pets and their humans came to the event the first year. It was the HSSC's most successful fundraising event of the year.

Mardi Paws Logo

One of the biggest fundraisers for the HSSC is its Mardi Paws event. The HSSC asked Pear to design a logo to give this event a recognizable identity. Pear created six initial logo designs, and the final was selected from this group. By using the new logo design, the event doubled in attendance and revenue leaped from $1,000 to $13,000.

Mutt Minute Logo

The Humane Society of Scott County launched a podcast and asked Pear to create a logo. Several designs were presented for consideration.

Adopt A Kennel Campaign

Funds raised through the year-end appeal campaign are critical to the shelter. Pear was asked to do a larger outreach campaign than the HSSC had typically done. A postcard was created and mailed to 22,000 pet owners. Pear sourced a contact list to help the shelter reach 17,000 potential new donors and coordinated printing and mailing. The campaign raised over $40,000 and activity increased 86% from the previous year.
