Authors Event Attracts Sell Out Crowd

Over 500 guests heard an inspiring story from Mariane Pearl about how she chooses to live her life without hate, without revenge and with hope for humanity. She and her husband, Danny Pearl, wanted to create a dialogue around the world through journalism. Nearly 10 years ago, Danny was kidnapped and killed while working for the Wall Street Journal in Pakistan. Today, Mariane uses her writing and opportunities to speak to continue creating a dialogue. The acclaimed author visited the Quad Cities for Women's Connection's November International Authors event.
